Raven continues their mission to help farmers feed the world. Over the past few weeks, Raven has sponsored the Harvest for Kids events in western Canada. One hundred-forty acres were donated to plant canola which will be sold and all the funds will go towards sending 10,000 kids to camp in developing countries.
Harvest for Kids raises money for Children’s Camps International through crop proceeds, which is produced with donations of land, inputs, machinery, and work by sponsors. Children’s Camps International is a non-profit organization that supports children’s camping programs in developing communities in Cambodia, India, Belize, Kenya, Fiji, and Cuba. Since 2003, when the program began, over 700,000 children have attended these camps.
