Raven Industries Acquires Montgomery Industries for Boom-Leveling Technology, Autoboom

Sioux Falls, SD-- Raven Industries is pleased to announce the acquisition of Montgomery Industries, Stockholm, SK Canada. Raven Industries, providers of a wide range of precision agriculture equipment and Montgomery Industries, designers of innovative position control systems, are leaders in the rapidly growing precision agriculture marketplace.

Montgomery has developed and sold an automatic boom height control system for sprayers called the Autoboom, which is designed to successfully maintain optimum boom height in uneven terrain without compromising the speed with which the sprayer can be operated. The Autoboom system enables greater sprayer efficiency and accuracy while minimizing operator fatigue and stress.
